The Indian Vaccine Manufacturers Association (IVMA) has appointed Krishna M Ella, the Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Bharat Biotech, as its new President for a two-year tenure starting April 2024. A statement from Bharat Biotech disclosed that Ella succeeds Adar C Poonawala, who served as President from 2019 until March 2024.
Mahima Datla, the Managing Director of Biological E, will assume the role of Vice President for the current two-year period. T Srinivas, the Chief Financial Officer of Bharat Biotech, has been designated as Treasurer, while Dr. Harshavardhan will retain the position of Director General of IVMA.
