Datar Cancer Genetics Limited is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Prashant Kumar as the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). Dr. Kumar is a distinguished leader in Cancer Biology, recognized for his groundbreaking work in translating laboratory discoveries into clinical applications. His career spans prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the Max Planck Institute, and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Dr. Kumar's accomplishments include the prestigious Ramanujan Fellowship, numerous national and international research collaborations, and the 2nd National Award for Excellence in Academic Clinical Research from the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR). Most recently, he was named Precision Researcher of the Year 2024 for his exceptional contributions to precision medicine.

Before joining Datar Cancer Genetics, Dr. Kumar held leadership roles, including Dean of Research at Somaiya Vidyavihar University and Chief Scientific Officer at Karkinos HealthCare. He also serves on the editorial boards of renowned journals such as *Frontiers in Oncology* and *Annals of Research in Oncology*.
