Notable participation came from well-known angels such as Rohit Chanana and Sabine Kapasi. The company, founded by Rahila Sarda, Preeti Gupta Lal, and a team of female scientists, plans to utilize the funds to expand its current operations and develop additional diagnostic solutions.
Specializing in diagnostic and therapeutic genome sequencing technologies for rare childhood diseases, Vgenomics serves clients including researchers and clinicians from esteemed institutions such as AIIMS, Dr. Shroff, and PGIMER. The startup envisions leveraging the raised capital to unite organizations dedicated to rare diseases and establish Vgenomics as the go-to hub for rare disease solutions, according to Sardar, the Co-founder and CEO of Vgenomics.
