  • To spearhead the Digital and Inside sales initiatives for BID in South Asia

  • Digital Sales Initiatives including

    • Promoting data-based decision-making approaches, providing data analytics, preparing dashboards, proving data insights to help decision making.

    • Creating a strong, dynamic, dependable database of users, KOLs, customers, competition, market segments, procurement agencies, channel partners, all the other stake holders in the ecosystem and installed base of ours and competition.

    • Developing matrices for measuring the user attachment rates with ours and competition installed base, consumption pattern, trend analysis, to increase consumable sales and secondary sales from channel partners to gain visibility.  

    • Providing the data analytics support and assessing the market dynamics though data centered approaches, gaining the market intelligence time to time.

    • Track, share and monitor the progress of the tenders (GeM, Tender tiger and other public sources)

    • Collate and share the relevant market updates covered in press, conferences, meetings or otherwise.

    • Coordinate within BID commercial team (Sales/ TSS/ BDMs) and other functions like Marketing, Applications, Service, Finance, Customer support, Legal, regional and global teams to support the above activities and develop and support implementation of the Digital promotion activities in order to generate demand.

    • Support the B2B implementation, supply centers and web ordering.

    • Responsible for digital and e-business marketing initiatives, liaising with cross functional teams and implementing the various programs in digital and e-business marketing.

    • Supports various web-ordering channels to drive incremental e-revenues with customer and web analytics.

    • Stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration to get results across digital and inside sales.

    • Follow up on adaption of Digital tools by commercial team like SFDC, Power Bi, AMandA, Sales hub.

  • To advance the Inside sales initiative

    • Lead the BID SA Inside sales team of 3+.

    • Developing a clear strategy and action plan with prioritization of portfolio, market segment and geographic coverage for SA Inside sales team.

    • Prepare the metrices for measuring and tracking regular progress of Inside sales activities.

    • Establish and deliver the revenue (billing and booking) and lead generation targets.


Job Requirement:

  • Education – MBA with Digital, Strategy, Marketing specializations preferred, post-graduation/ graduation in Life sciences will be an advantage.

  • Experience – Minimum 12 years’ experience in Insides sales, tele sales, data analytics in related industry (Life science, Diagnostics, Medical devices) at least half of that should be people management experience.

  • Skills – Experience in dealing with cross functional teams, digital tools, data analytics, making meaningful data insights, preparing dashboards, effective presentations, executive summary, and effective people management skills.

  • Soft skills – SFDC, Power Bi, database tools, statistical tools, web ordering tools, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Travel frequency – 20%
